Lesson 1 – Why Improve Psychological Health & Safety

In this lesson, we’ll look at the statistical reality of mental health in the workplace and some of the major impacts and connections that enlighten people on why we need to improve conditions. We'll explore how psychologically healthy and safe work environments lead to employees who are healthier, happier, and more satisfied with their job.

Lesson 2 – What is a Psychologically Healthy & Safe Workplace

In this lesson we'll look at what it means to have a resilient and psychologically healthy and safe workplace. We'll cover why it’s crucial for organizations to pay attention to ways they can enhance the psychological health and safety of their work environments and their workers.

Lesson 3 – The National Standard

In this lesson, we will explore the components of the National Standard, which provides a framework for creating a psychologically healthy and safe workplace. You will gain an understanding of the 13 psychosocial factors that impact mental health in the workplace, such as workload management and social support.

Lesson 4 – Organizational Imperatives

In this lesson, we'll review the health, business and legal imperatives that support an organization's ability to create and foster a psychologically safe and healthy work environment. Organizations that make an effort to identify psychosocial risks and create a psychologically healthy workplace, tend to see benefits in productivity, sustainability, and growth!
